REMINISCENCE

"True fulfillment is not found on the surface, it is based in the depths" - When we meet a person, the face is usually the first thing we see or make contact with. The true understanding of our counterpart, however, is much deeper than what the face reflects. I try to fathom this profound sensory impression in my portraits and capture it on canvas - they tell stories of feelings, sensations, emotions, experiences, and thoughts. My portraits are a mixture of what is felt and what is seen.
