The Collagen works normally integrate the Face FS series, and are a digression from it.
The process of these works is a juxtaposition of cut-out elements forming an archaeology of the Artist's work.
We still find the double portrait of the series (a real human face "floating" on a humanoid); however, the works integrate a multiplicity of planes and forms, which when combined refer to different times. It is in this sense that the artist evokes archaeology. Like a stratification of the pictorial, chromatic, as well as memorial and sensitive layer.
Colour has always been used in the works, but here it takes on a sensitive and diaphanous dimension, by which the Artist means that light emanates from the work. That the light present is not just light reflected on the surface of the material.
