This collection (my very first!) is all about experimentation. I don't want to work on a series because it bores me enough in exhibitions to see endless variations of the same painting! I prefer my works to be different from each other, even if it's harder and potentially less profitable.
The common ground remains my obsessions, my wounds, and my own expectations of paintings. The profusion of color in the majority of the works creates a contrast with my radically dark and tortured world.
It is not about decoration, about pieces that everyone could put in their living room! These works may displease, disturb, and shock, but what I seek above all is to paint with sincerity, to give birth to the images that struggle in my head without any commercial consideration... and if my style corresponds to the tastes of some people, then so much the better!
Not to do like the others, to trace my own way, here is a program that does not seem too bad.
