After studying optics and optometry in Marseille, Laurence Litomi opened an optical shop in Aix en Provence. She did not yet realize that the eye is intrinsically linked to Art - would a work of Art exist without the eye of the spectator? - and that her destiny lay elsewhere. The studious by nature, perfectionist, and meticulous, try out all the disciplines that the plastic Arts offer: photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, and digital Art. It was a Japanese painting teacher who marked her style by making her discover colors and their harmonies. When Laurence Litomi returns to her first love, photography, and imagines its projection on metal, she turns to natural pigments to be able to create her own colors and reach perfect harmony.
