Dénes Csasznyi was born in 1967 in Bečej, Vojvodina. Although Art has been part of his life since childhood, as his father was a sculptor and his mother a drawing teacher, it was a long way to become a sculptor.
In 1991, he was accepted to the Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, majoring in fine Arts. Unfortunately, he could not start his studies, as he had to leave his country because of the war in Yugoslavia, and had to start a new life in Hungary.
He tried to stay close to art in Hungary as well, so between 1993 and 1995, he worked as a draughtsman at the Pannónia Film Studio with József Gémes. Later he worked as a furniture restorer and gilder.
Today sculpture is not only his passion but also his work, finally, he can devote most of his time to his Art.
