Abdou Fall is a Painter who was born in 1972 in Dieupeul and grew up in Khar Yallah Dakar (Senegal). Under the influence of my older brother, ALASSANE FALL who was already painting, very young I started to play with brushes and that's how I made my very first sketches. Over the years, the passion grew in me. I remember very young that at the end of the classes, I will run to join ALASSANE, his friends and their paintings
sandblasting and painting that amazed me. He remained my reference and my source of perseverance.
After my certificate in General Education, I entered the National School of Arts in Dakar until 2016. And since then I have been working in the Senegalese capital.
Elected President of the sculptors of the artisanal village of Soumbédioune since October 13, 2020, I am also the President of the GIE G2ASP which brings together Art Craftsmen, Sculptors and Painters.
Married and father of 3 children, I am mainly inspired by current events because I firmly believe that we must be in tune with our world in order to be able to bring positive changes around us (hence my nickname: "The brush change "). For me life is an exchange, a debate of ideas. In my free time, I like to watch a good family movie, a sports program (football - basketball) or a debate where opinions differ. Also I refer a lot to Picasso who with cubism revolutionized painting.
