VERGINA CARTOON I

This series formed part of an exhibition which Milton Keynes Gallery, (part of Plus Tate), launched to celebrate their new gallery buildings, funded by Arts Council England and the National lottery. Also Included are three large preparatory cartoons that provided visual information for the series, originally derived from the Vergina tombs in Macedonia. The series is underpinned by a mystery thriller, a graphic novel tracing the relationship of Eustace and Makepeace, from their first childhood meeting to their final encounter; it is a story of disappearance, mystery and murder, and is an adventure on becoming an Artist, based on events in Nick Malone’s own life.
