TRANQUIL CITY 07

The painting was made during the summer of 2020 and was inspired by the Artist’s Corona diary during the lockdown. The impressions and experiences of spring 2020 during the coronavirus period inspired the Artist to use the metal leaf to incorporate thoughts about this period as text in the painting. The atmosphere and appearance of the work of Art are, just like in a real city, strongly influenced by the incidence of (sun)light.
