THE TIME IS NOW

As a result of all of Abi’s treatments for her eyes and adjustments, highs and lows she tries to really enjoy the present. In the Artists own words: “Looking to the future for happiness is like looking at a mirage sometimes. I believe completely in dreaming for the future, but sometimes I have to remind myself that my life is happening now, and needs to be enjoyed now.” She is looking at you from the painting, out of her visible eye. Making you stop to look back, yet the other abstract side to the artwork seems to be travelling backwards or forwards? Yet the ultimately in the Artists words: “I truly believe, with all my Artworks, I am only half the story. A painting is truly a triumph when the viewer can attach their own emotions and stories to the piece. Making the viewer the other half of the story, of which I hope there are many.”
