STORM AT SEA

This abstract Artwork was made in the autumn of 2021 and is inspired by the book ‘Life of Pi’ by Yann Martel. His special and imaginative story about a boy’s shipwreck inspired the Artist to make this painting. Parts of the text have been incorporated into the abstract painting using sheet metal. The atmosphere and appearance of the artwork are therefore strongly influenced by the incidence of (sun) light. “Dawn came and matters were worse for it.
