SPOTLIGHT

With SPOTLIGHT, the Artist shows a striking portrait of a woman. The lights (spotlights) are laid over the portrait in fluorescent acrylic colors and shine in blue light. The portrait itself is painted with acrylic paints in anthracite and shell white on yellow primed canvas. With the painting, the painter shows that it is not always pleasant to be in the limelight and that a human being, represented in the form of a woman, can often be vulnerable and helpless there. However, the cheerful, bright colors that the artist chose mean that the picture as a whole, in contrast to the portrait alone, radiates a lightness and joy of life.
