OPPOSITES ATTTRACT

It's not always easy, but she knows she has an inner strength that will see her through life's challenges. Blue is often the perceived colour of water on a sunny day with the sky reflecting on the surface. Water is where many of us gravitate to when we want to sit and look and feel calm, so it felt fitting to paint a blue portrait in this series. It's also .a colour that shines out to Abi like the sun with her impaired vision. As with all of her paintings in this series, she has enjoyed playing with structure versus random marks and how these opposites can live harmoniously together side by side.
