The first Artwork in the series. She is a celebration of inner-strength, femininity and wisdom.This mixed media painting 'Meditate' started out as very precise black ink blocks. This allowed Abi to then add the subsequent brush strokes, splashes , scribbles and marks freely and spontaneously. In the Artist's own words: "I'm attracted to opposites in life and how they can live harmoniously together, black against white, random versus order, calm versus chaos."
