LOST 03 | THE MYSTERIOUS FOREST

The painting is inspired by the children’s book ‘Ronja de Robbers Daughter’ by Astrid Lindgren. Her descriptions of childlike amazement and amazement at what nature has to offer inspired the artist to incorporate parts of the text into the woods using sheet metal. As with a real forest, the atmosphere and appearance of the work of Art are strongly influenced by the incidence of (sun) light.
