LA FEMME POLITIQUE

The paintings in this series are haunted by current events, but by chance, according to the photographs of celebrities, of people who make up the news that I pick up from the newspaper, a daily paper, with the only question that interests me: What would it look like in painting? - Yes, what could I do to "render" this photograph with the means of easel painting? Is there enough information in this visual medium, enough photographic visual matter, to fill the other matter, that of the pictorial, of painting, as if they were communicating vessels, without worrying about the photographed subject, its meaning.
