A series of intimate portraits of people from all walks of life that intrigue and inspire me. Always in oil, I would call them stylised realism, but not photorealism, I like broad brush strokes that give a more expressive feel. I especially enjoy painting unconventional, quirky people. Sometimes unconventional composition and dimension, sometimes more standard. There is no such thing as an ordinary person...everyone is extraordinary in their own way.
