EMILY

In the Artist’s own words: “Emily' was named after an extremely strong woman I know, who despite her world falling apart around her managed to keep her dignity and found an inner strength from deep within. She's an inspiration to me!!” “The painting started out as very precise black ink blocks.” This allowed Abi to then add the subsequent brush strokes, splashes , scribbles and marks freely and spontaneously. “I'm attracted to opposites in life, black against white, random versus order, calm versus chaos. This RED version takes Emily's vibrancy to a whole new level.” A level that demands our attention and makes her stand out from the crowd.
